ATTENTION: Failure to follow rules will result in a fee of $25 plus.
The studio is under surveillance at all times. There are no cameras located inside the studio but cameras on both the front and back doors.
Please be prompt for your scheduled slot. Arrive on time (not early) and make arrangements to clean up and be out the door as your time is ending in the studio. Please be courteous of other renters and stay within your time slot.
**Please let us know RIGHT AWAY if there is anything damaged or missing in the studio. Failure to do so may result in you being fined for the damage. Please encourage your clients to treat our space with great respect.
You MUST check out at the end of your rental. You do so by replacing the key in the lock box. Our lock box will time stamp your arrival/departure. DO NOT PASS the key to the next renter out of safety for you and the studio. If the key goes missing and you have not checked out, we will assume you lost the key and charge you a $100 replacement fee.
Do NOT enter the studio before it is your scheduled time slot.
You cannot extend your time in the studio. Please plan ahead and book additional time as needed when booking the studio. Staying past your scheduled time will result in a late fee charged to your credit card on file. TURN OFF LIGHTS before you leave.
The entrance and back door MUST be locked when you leave. PLEASE check this. We are notified when a door is left unlocked. You may be fined $25.00 if you fail to check that both doors are locked.
If you are going to allow clients to wear shoes on the seamless paper backdrop, you MUST choose the add on option of $20 to help cover the cost of the paper. If you are having a cake smash shoot, you MUST choose the add on option of $30 to help cover the cost of the paper. If paper is damaged after your rental your card on file will be charged.
No pets allowed. Service animals are welcome but please notify us beforehand. If our footage shows any animals entering the studio, you will be charged a $100 cleaning fee to the card on file.
No food and drink (other than water) are allowed in the studio. ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL.
Props in the closet and studio are available for everyone to use. Please respect the props and furniture as if they are your own.
Clean up after yourself and PLACE STUDIO PROPS BACK NICELY AFTER YOU USE THEM. Make the space look better than when you arrived.
No open flames, candles, body oil, confetti, glitter, or smoke bombs, or any other outside prop that may leave a mess or cause damage to the studio. You may use chunky glitter and have cake smashes but you must allow for ample clean up time. If the studio is left messy after your rental, you will be charged a $50 cleaning fee to your card on file.
If blankets/sheets get soiled, please place them in the hamper in the props room. You should be able to find a new set in the room.
Keep the noise level down. Be courteous of the businesses next to the studio.
DO NOT JUMP ON THE BED. Doing so is inherently dangerous and may result in injury.
Studio owners have the right to come into the studio at any time.
Due to building policy and safety, the doors must remain unlocked while the studio is being occupied.
Boudoir sessions are welcome. Please be aware when shooting a boudoir session that the studio is a store front and people may see inside.
DO NOT hang anything on the walls. Please contact studio owner for permission to use small tacks, etc. NO NAILS OR SCREWS ARE TO BE USED ON THE WALLS.
Please do your best to pick up furniture, DO NOT SLIDE as it may scratch the flooring.
Rolling wall can be moved anywhere in the studio.
Collective Lens Studio is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal items.
Please turn the AC to 80 before leaving.
We are not liable for any personal injuries or illnesses during your time at the Studio and recommend you carry business liability insurance to protect yourself and your clients.
Do not take anything from the studio. If items go missing during your time slot, we will review the studio footage and charge you for a replacement if necessary.

Workshops or large styled events must be approved beforehand. Please email us with the details before booking. Only one contracted photographer permitted at the studio during a time slot unless special permission was given beforehand.
Cancellation Policy:
All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions. Please double check your date, time, and chosen rental are all correct before submitting. We unfortunately can not allow reschedules.
No refunds on unused time.
Collective Lens Studio reserves the right to cancel any bookings at its discretion. In the rare case that this happens, a full refund will be given.
